2018 World Cup Host Cities to be promoted through Visit Russia offices

A total of 120 tourist programmes and itineraries have been developed for fans and guests

During the 5th Saint Petersburg International Cultural Forum Samara Oblast Tourism Department and National Tourism Marketing Center have signed a cooperation agreement to promote Samara as a travel destination within the framework of 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™.

Samara Oblast Administration press liaison told welcome2018.com that Samara and Samara region will be promoted as a tourist destination, part of the “Visit Russia. Alliance of hospitable cities” brand.

Visit Russia will provide a platform for Samara and other Host Cities to promote their tourist programs for 2018 World Cup and 2017 Confederations Cup. The campaign will also expand to overseas offices of Visit Russia.

The Russian Ministry of Culture has tasked the The Federal Agency for Tourism along with regional governments and tour operators, as well as Visit Russia, to come up with 120 tourist programmes and itineraries for 2018 World Cup and 2017 Confederations Cup fans and guests.
