“Dream Island” amusement park planned in Moscow for late 2017

According to Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, 10 mln people will visit the park annually

“Dream Island” amusement park of about 240 sq. m. that might be opened in Moscow at the end of 2017 is designed for 10 mln people per year, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin said during the inspection of the park’s construction site.

“Children’s theme park, the largest in the world, is being constructed in Nagatinskaya floodplain. It will be able to receive more than 50,000 people daily, we expect 10 mln people per year,” Sobyanin said.

According to member of the investor's board of directors Amiran Mutsoev, the park will be built in several phases. "The opening is scheduled for late 2017 - early 2018," he said.

In total, more than $1.5 bln is panned to allocate for the construction of the park. The venue will have several zones - sports, family, children, interactive and a park proper with public gardens and ponds.
