The organization of the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 does not give football players and the coaching staff of the Australian team any reason to complain about anything. This was stated by the head coach of the Australian team Angelos Postecoglou.

Their first match of the tournament, held in Sochi, socceroos lost to the team of Germany with a score of 2 - 3. On Thursday in Saint Petersburg, the Australian team will play with Cameroonians.

"Honestly, I did not get out of the hotel at all, but what we do see - the hotel, transfer, security - everything is organized perfectly. Australians generally do not feel like complaining about anything, but there is definitely no reason," Postecoglou said.

He admitted that he considers his trip to the World Youth Championship in the USSR in 1985 one of the main events in his playing career.

The matches of the 1985 World Youth Championship took place in Minsk, Baku, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Leningrad and Moscow.

"It was in 1985, it was a different country, for me that trip was a great experience, I managed to see another country, get acquainted with another culture. This is one of the most memorable trips and, perhaps, one of the strongest impressions in my career as a player," said the coach.

According to him, in the match with the Cameroonians, his team must endure all the positive moments of the match with the Germans. "We are disappointed with the result of the first match, especially the game in the first half. We have done a thorough mistake analysis session. There is no point in serious changes," he said.
