Confederations Cup fans watch Russian ballet in Moscow metro

Actors of the Kremlin Ballet Theater of the State Kremlin Palace on the night of June 25 to 26 performed at the Novoslobodskaya station of the Moscow metro for football fans and guests who arrived to the Russian capital for the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017. The media service of the Metro reported on this event.

"We gave Confederations Cup fans a unique opportunity to see the best parties from the world-famous productions at the beautiful Moscow metro station," the media service quotes Roman Latypov, Deputy head of Moscow Metro on strategic development and client relations.

The best parties from Russian ballet productions were seen by 200 football fans and guests of the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017. The stage for the performance of the ballet company was installed directly on the platform of the Novoslobodskaya station, one of the most beautiful stations in the Moscow metro.

"The famous illuminated stained-glass windows became an effective element of the scenery, and the station, submerged in twilight, termporary was transformed into a theatre," the media service noted.

The audience saw ballet parts from The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Don Quixote. Under the arches of the station sounded the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig Minkus.

"Night In The Metro" is a unique cultural and educational project, when the stations of the Moscow Metro become venues for for educational activities for one night.
