The train, dedicated to the Year of the Russian cinema, begins to operate on the Circle Line of the Moscow metro. The train "Timeless Heroes" was launched by Head of the Moscow metro Dmitry Pegov, Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky and CEO of Gorky Film Studio Sergei Zernov.

Each train car is dedicated to a particular period of the Russian cinema and, in particular, the Gorky Film Studio. Train cars have photos from the most famous films by the studio, vintage movie posters with annotations.

Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky said that Gorky Film Studio for its 100-year history has produced more than 1,000 films, "with quotes that the Russian people today cannot imagine living without.” “We hope that this is the first thematic train dedicated to the promotion of the Russian cinema," the Minister said, adding that the department can prepare similar trains.

To celebrate the launch of the train, the 500,000th edition of special tickets with a festive design was prepared.
