Rossiya Segodnya news agency became the operator of these offices
13 December 2017
The work of the city's multimedia press offices for media representatives during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ is organized by Rossiya Segodnya news agency. These press offices will aid in covering the events taking place in the city and outside of it during the World Cup. Similar offices functioned during the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

For the journalists accredited in a press office, press conferences and briefings featuring city and regional leaders, representatives of the tourism industry, cultural and art stars will be held every day. Workstations with free Wi-Fi and screens with broadcast matches will be equipped there.

The press offices will also make it available to get acquainted with the presentations of the 2018 World Cup regions.

In order to get accredited in a city press office one will need to register at footballcitymediacenter.ru. "The launch of the website and the start of accreditation requests submission will take place in the near future," the agency representative noted.

The 2018 World Cup will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018 in 11 cities: Moscow, Kaliningrad, Saint Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi and Ekaterinburg.
