Confederations Cup and World Cup tourist routes to be presented in Madrid

A total of 120 tourism programmes will be presented in Madrid

Feria de Madrid (IFEMA) Exhibition Centre will host one of the largest international tourism exhibitions FITUR in January 18-22, 2017. According to the Russian Ministry of Culture, tourism routes and programmes created especially for the FIFA Confederations Cup and 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ visitors will be presented at the exhibition.

We have created a total of 120 programmes, which include not just the matches, but will allow for visitors to get acquainted with Russia’s historical, cultural and natural sights. Russia’s stand at the exhibition will present transregional routes such as “Silver Necklace of Russia,” “Golden Ring,” “Great Silk Toad” and “Great Tea Road.”

On January 20, the Russian Embassy will host a reception in honor of the opening of a Visit Russia travel programme office in Spain. Russian Deputy Minister of Culture Alla Manilova, Deputy Head of the Federal Tourism Agency Sergei Korneev, Visit Russia Spain representative Marlene Rodriguez and others will attend the event.
