Special events dedicated to the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held during “Mordovia – Spartak” match in the 11-th tour of the Russian Championship, “Saransk 2018” management told Welcome2018.com.

The game will take place on October 3 at the stadium "Start". Prior to entering the stadium sports fans will be able to put on themed face painting: "sports fan coloring" or the symbols of the World Cup, as well as to take pictures in the photo frame of the host city of Saransk. Volunteers will hand out leaflets with key information about the World Cup and the main stages of preparing the city for the event.

Before the match and during the half-time fans will be enjoying live entertainment at the stadium. Particular attention will be given to children. Small pupils of the football club “Mordovia” will accompany the players to the field, and the football team of the Yalginsky orphanage school will watch the game and get souvenirs from the "Saransk 2018" management team.

“Host city of the World Cup Saransk regularly participates in activities that increase the popularity of football in the country, holding charity events, organizing meetings with professional football players for the children,” General Director of “Saransk 2018” Alexey Pleshachkov said. “In the previous match we organized photo and autograph session for the winning team of the street football championship with the players of CSKA. It was a special and happy moment for the children. This time we hope to be able to come to agreement with "Spartak" so that they could meet with the players from Yalginsky orphanage. We believe that such meetings are great incentive for children to lead a healthy lifestyle, exercise, set high goals and believe in their achievement. "
