The FIFA Fan Fest™ venues located in the eleven host cities have been announced following the Board Meeting of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), starting the planning for these official public viewing events that offer free of charge experience for local and visiting football fans.
According to the FIFA's press service, the complete list of confirmed locations is as follows:
62 Armii Embankment in Volgograd – 30,000 people.
Mayakovsky Central Park of Entertainment and Culture in Ekaterinburg will host 17,000 people.
Tsentralnaya Square in Kaliningrad on the way from the city to the stadium - 25,000 people.
Family Center “Kazan” in Kazan for 20,000 people.
Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills) in Moscow, located at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, situated on a hill on the right bank of the Moskva River, for 40,000 people.
Fan zone in Nizhny Novgorod will be located in Minina i Pozharskogo Square, next to the Kremlin and a busy pedestrian street, and will host 15,000 people.
Teatralnaya Square, large square close to the city center that is a well-known event location for the local community in Rostov-on-Don for 25,000 people.
Konyushennaya Square in the heart of the historical city center, directly next to one of the city’s main sights – the Church of the Saviour of Spilled Blood in Saint Petersburg – 15,000 people.
Kuybysheva Square in Samara, the largest square in Russia, located in the heart of the city, in front of the opera and ballet theatre, will also become a fan zone for 35,000 people.
Sovetskaya Square in Saransk in the city center regularly used for major city events, for 25,000 people.
South Mall of the Seaport in Sochi - most iconic location in the heart of the city, at the famous beach promenade – was chosen as the Fest venue for 10,000 people.
