All-Russian Forum of "silver volunteers" begins in Ekaterinburg - the volunteer movement for senior citizens. For two days, the forum will bring together senior citizens and young people.

The forum will feature educational seminars and panel discussions on a variety of topics. The key topics will be connected with funding new ways to fund original ideas, and further development of these projects. Participants will least about success stories of joint projects of volunteers of different ages. The goal of the forum is to develop a roadmap for the “silver volunteer” movement in Russia.

The forum will involve people of all age to demonstrate the need and importance of different generations of volunteers working together. The event will make a significant contribution to forming a system of active cooperation and support between the “silver volunteers” and the youth.

In total 40,000 volunteers will be trained for the World Cup, including 20,000 volunteers of the Local Organizing Committee "Russia-2018" that will help directly with the organization of the tournament. Another 20,000 people - city volunteers who will assist in the cities, airports and railway stations.
