First FIFA Confederations Cup tickets go on sale

Visa card holders are the first to get the opportunity to buy the tickets.

The first FIFA Confederations Cup tickets are going on sale: starting 01.00 pm Moscow time fans will be able to purchase them through FIFA’s website. Visa card holders are the first to get the opportunity to buy the tickets.

Tickets for a series of the Confederations Cup 2017 matches which will take place in host cities such as Kazan, Moscow, Sochi and Saint Petersburg have become available. The price to group stage matches will start from 960 rubles in the 4th category (for Russian residents) and from $70 in the 3rd (for all fans).

Tickets may be bought only with Visa cars during the pre-sale which will last until November 17. Anyone can purchase the tickets for a maximum of ten matches and no more than 6 tickets per match. Delivery will be free of charge and will begin in April, 2017. Fans with disabilities will be offered special access tickets.

Seven of the eight Confederations Cup participants are already known: the national teams of Russia (the tournament host), Germany (2014 World Champion), Portugal (2016 Champion of Europe), Australia (2015 Asian Cup Champion), Chili (2015 Copa America Champion), Mexico (2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup Champion), New Zealand (2016 OFC Nations Cup Champions). The finalist of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place on February 12, will become the eighth team to take part in the Confederations Cup.
