Ural tour operators will organise information tours to Ekaterinburg for bloggers and journalists from different countries before the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. This was reported to welcome2018.com by Director of Sverdlovsk Tourism Development Centre Elmira Tukanova.

"From February 2018 until the beginning of the World Cup we will be organising information tours for bloggers, journalists and people, who are engaged in information support, in order to tell them about the city and its places of interest," she said.

According to Tukanova, the tours will be organised primarily for representatives from France, Sweden, Egypt and Japan. "We are interested in those countries that have an interest not only in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Our task is to pique their interest and keep them here so that Sverdlovsk Oblast attracts tourists after the tournament," she noted.

The World Cup matches will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018 in 11 cities of Russia. In Ekaterinburg on June 15, Egypt will stand against Uruguay, on June 21 it will host the game where France will face Peru, June 24 Japan will play Senegal, and on June 27 – Mexico will go against Sweden.
