Volunteers from the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ volunteer centre based on the Baltic Federal University named after Kant completed training to help people with disabilities. The lesson was сonducted by members of the Kovcheg [Ark] public organization.

According to Kovcheg, the small lesson on overcoming obstacles and safety precautions was conducted by the organizations activist Marina Kulikova. Volunteers themselves experienced how difficult it is to use a wheelchair on improperly made ramps and sharp slopes. Now they know when people in wheelchairs need physical help and how to best offer it.

"Kovcheg together with the Baltic Federal University volunteer centre are planning to hold a lot of joint projects and events. And every such a meeting allows for more volunteers to learn how to properly assist people with disabilities," the organization’s official website wrote.
