Kaliningrad’s zoo will hold a rally dedicated to the 2018 World Cup mascot vote

On October 15 the Kaliningrad zoo is holding a rally inciting to vote for one of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ mascot , according to "Kaliningrad 2018".Kaliningrad’s envoy to the 2018 World Cup as well as five-time Olympic medalist in synchronized swimming Natalia Ishchenko tale part in the event.

Fliers with information on the 2018 mascot race were given out to all who purchased tickets to the zoo on the day of the event. The zoo will hold a vote from October 15 to October 21, offering anyone to cast a vote in favor of one of the candidates – the tiger, the wolf of the cat. Upon connecting to the zoo Wi-Fi the 2018 World Cup mascot official voting page opens up, giving easy access to all.

The zoo will also hold a lot of contests, the winners of which will be announced on October 23. They will be awarded with footballs provided by Adidas, FIFA’s commercial partner, and signed by Natalia Ishchenko and other souvenirs with the championship’s symbol.

On the first day of the event, October 15, zoologists will tell visitors all about each of the three animals, which inspired the three mascot candidates. Also, volunteers from the Organizing Committee for the FIFA World Cup "Russia-2018" will give out fliers with information on each 2018 World Cup mascot and will answer all questions visitors might have about the event.
