The volunteers trained for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ are committed to introducing the tournaments’ guests to the best side of Russia, believes Carles Puyol, former Barcelona and Spain squad fullback.

"Volunteers play a key role at World Cups: the entire tournament depends on them,” he said. “Others teams’ fans, when they arrive, volunteers are the first local people they meet. It looks like Russia’s volunteer programme will be a success. Over 170,000 people have signed up thus far. I’m positive that everything will go well.”
