Mayor of Moscow: there will be enough rooms in Moscow hotels for everybody during 2018 World Cup

The hotel fund of Moscow is capable of providing accommodation for all fans during the upcoming FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia™, according to Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin.

"Events, such as the World Cup, are not a big problem for us. We will provide hotels for everyone interested," Sobyanin said.

Sobyanin noted that three years ago, about 20% of hotels in Moscow have been standardized according to the international classification. "Over the years, almost all of Moscow hotel fund was certified according to the international standards. It is very important so that tourists can get around. Besides, every year we introduce several thousands of hotel rooms,” the Mayor said.

Sobyanin also noted that the sports infrastructure will be ready as well. "We have commissioned Spartak stadium, CSKA stadium. I think that in 2018 we will introduce Dynamo, and in early 2017 we will finish the reconstruction of Luzhniki arena,” Sobyanin said.
