Parks with a total area of 12,000 hectares will be constructed in New Moscow, according to Head of the Moscow Department for the development of new territories Vladimir Zhidkin.
"According to the general plan of Troitsky and Novomoskovsky Administrative Districts of Moscow, around 90 parks will be constructed in new areas,” he said.
According to the official, tenders for the construction of two new large theme parks - "Gloria Park" and "Park of Heroes" will spark the interest of investors.
"Park of Heroes" in New Moscow will occupy 283 hectares, "Gloria Park" - almost 98 hectares.
The foundation stone in the construction of "Park of Heroes" was laid last summer. It is expected that the park will be designed in the form of a map of the USSR.
