Kirill Evdokimov, president of the Moscow Ship Owner Association, has announced that a pilot project to launch a public transit route over Moscow River is slated for this year. For now the exact route has not yet been established.

The spokesman noted: “Either it will connect Tushino with Northern River Terminal, or Pechatniki with Kolomenskoe. Maybe both routes will be launched at the same time. However, it will be a pilot project. I believe that it’s a very complicated task – transition citizens from above-ground to river public transit.”

A trip from Tushino to Northern River Terminal will take around 12 minutes. The fare is not expected exceed that for above-ground transportation.
