No order violations during Confederations Cup 2017

Not a single case of public order violation by the fans was recorded during the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017. This was stated by the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee Russia 2018, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko at the plenary session of the State Duma within the Government hour.

"There was not a single case of order violation, no one attacked anyone, everyone behaved," he said. "We created good conditions."

The Confederations Cup was held in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Sochi and Kazan from June 17 to July 2. The Germany national team became the winner, Chile took the second place, the third was taken by the Portuguese.
