Approximately 26 thousand foreign citizens have received FAN IDs, which are necessary for attending the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 matches. This was stated by LOC Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko.

"Around 26 thousand foreign citizens have already received fan passports, 60 thousand people took advantage of the right of free travel between the host cities, 200 trains carried them," Mutko said, also noting that the security system of the tournament was working flawlessly. "Hundreds of thousands of people are involved in the organisation, everything is under control, the security system works irreproachably," he said.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation is satisfied with the quality of football in the Confederations Cup. "I think that the semi-final match between the national teams of Portugal and Chile could make fall in love even those who are not interested in football," Mutko said.

According to the official, the average attendance of matches of the Confederations Cup is 37 thousand spectators. "We are satisfied with attendance: the ratio of fans is: 93 percent are Russian citizens, seven percent are foreigners," he said.
