Russian pop stars Polina Gagarina, Egor Creed and DJ Smash will perform at the closing ceremony of the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 at the Saint Petersburg Stadium on July 2 before the tournament final.

The choreographer of the first set piece is the finalist of the Dance show on Channel One and Dances show on TNT, the actor of the Saint Petersburg Leningrad Center theater Stanislav Litvinov.

"The director of the ceremony, Felix Mikhailov, entrusted me staging the choreography of another set piece, which also has to do with the journey, not only in time, but also in the history of the Confederations Cup. It will be a real parade of winners with the participation of giant dolls, which our artists will control under the direction of Nona Bulygina. There will be a lot of interesting and unusual," said the choreographer.

A set piece titled "The Ballet Class" is prepared by the laureate of the highest theater prize "Golden Sofit" and "The Soul of Dance", Honored Artist of Russia, ballerina Vera Arbuzova. At the Confederations Cup opening ceremony she performed a solo part of the firebird, and for part of the closing ceremony she acts as the choreographer of the set piece dedicated to the Russian ballet.

"The ceremony involves the best artists not only from Saint Petersburg, but also from Moscow, and from other regions - more than a thousand people," Litvinov concluded.

The ceremony will begin at 7:15 p.m. Moscow time, the final match at 9:00 p.m. Moscow time.
