World Cup 2018 ambassadors take part in 27th round of Russia championship matches

Victoria Lopyreva, the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ host city Rostov-on-Don ambassador made a symbolic first pass in the second half of the match of the 27th round of the Russian championship between Moscow Spartak and Tomsk Tom. The meeting was held at the Spartak Stadium, which will host the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and 2018 World Cup matches. Lopyreva made a pass to another Rostov-on-Don ambassador, Spartak captain Denis Glushakov.

The match ended with Spartak victory with a score of 1 - 0 and turned out to be Red-White's gold. In the same round, Saint Petersburg Zenit lost to Grozny Terek (0 - 1) at home. After the games Spartak's leading position became inaccessible to competitors for three rounds prior to the championship end.

In the match at the Saint Petersburg Stadium, where FC Zenit played with FC Terek, the city's 2018 World Cup ambassador took part - the second half was started by Vasily Gerello, the Mariinsky Theater soloist. Gennady Orlov, another ambassador from the Northern Capital was commenting the game.

Kazan ambassador Irek Zinnurov made a symbolic kick in the match between Rubin and Ufa, which took place at the Kazan Arena. The Russia national team former water polo player brought luck to the Kazan team: Rubin, which has two more Kazan's ambassadors, goalkeeper Sergey Ryzhikov and defender Elmir Nabiullin, won with a score of 2 - 1. Ufa club coach Serey Semak is also another World Cup 2018 ambassador.
