Russian national lineup for Qatar and Romania friendlies

The two matches will take place on November 10 and 15.

The Russian national football team’s coaching staff announced a list of players, who will receive an invitation to join the squad to prepare for friendlies with Qatar and Romania. According to the press service of the Russian Football Union, head coach Stanislav Cherchesov chose 24 players.

Goalkeepers: Igor Akinfeev (CSKA Moscow), Soslan Dzhanayev (FC Rostov), Stanislav Kritsyuk (FC Krasnodar).

Defenders: Vasili Berezutski (CSKA Moscow), Viktor Vasin (FC UFA), Ivan Novoseltsev (FC Zenit), Fyodor Kudryashov (FC Rosrov), Ilya Kutepov ( Spartak Moscow), Andrei Semenov ( Terek Grozny) Roman Shishkin ( Lokomotiv Moscow).

Midfielders: Yuri Gasinski (FC Krasnodar), Denis Glushakov, Roman Zobnin, Dmitriy Komvarov (all playing for Spartak Moscow), Aleksandr Golovin (CSKA Moscow), Aleksandr Yerokhin (FC Rostov), Yuri Zhirkov, Pavel Mogilevets (both playing for Zenit Saint Petersburg), Aleksey Miranchuk, Alexander Samedov (both playing for Lokomotiv Moscow), Magomed Ozdoev (Rubin Kazan).

Strikers: Maksim Kanunnikov (Rubin Kazan), Aleksandr Kokorin (Zenit Saint Petersburg), Dmitry Poloz (FC Rostov)

Two additional players will also be involved in the training process – defenders Giorgi Jikia (Amkar Perm) and Mario Fernandes (CSKA Moscow).

Russia will play Qatar on November 10 in Doha and Romania on November 15 in Grozny.

Stanislav Cherchesov’s wards will begin their reparations for the first match on November 7 in Doha.
