Saint Petersburg Metro and the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ Organising Committee launched a new themed train in dedication to the FIFA Confederations CUP 2017.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko took part in the event along with General Director of the Organising Committee “Russia-2018” Alexey Sorokin, Saint Petersburg’s Governor Vyacheslav Malafeev and Ambassador of Saint Petersburg as the 2018 World Cup Host City, Mariinsky Theatre soloist Vasily Gerello.

"This is very important in terms of promoting the Confederations Cup. The train will remind of the upcoming tournament. It’s an important tournament, because the world’s strongest national teams will participate in it. We also plan to hold events 100 days before the start of the Confederations Cup. We want to advertise the tournament as much as possible," Mutko said.
