Samara announced the results of the "Football through the eyes of children" competition dedicated to World Football Day (December 10). The event was held at Children’s Art School № 1 named after G.E. Singer.

During the first phase of the competition secondary school students aged between 7 and 17 handed in their works devoted to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. The second phase took place from 1 to 10 of December, when each school sent up to three of the best drawings to the city competition.

A total of 67 drawings made it to the competition finals with judges eventually selecting 24 of the best drawings, dividing them into several groups – 7 to 9 years of age, 10 to 13 and 14 to 17.

The judges took into consideration creativity, the original style, techniques, composition and color range.

Despite the fact that the competition was held for kids from the age of 7, the judged could not ignore the work of a five-year-old boy, who drew his sister playing football. Mustafa Mustafaev became the winner of a special award called "The youngest participant. "

The exhibition at Children’s Art School № 1 named after G.E. Singer will be open until December 20, 2016. Best works will be exhibited in Samara’s art schools and local administration offices throughout the whole of 2017.
