Ambassador of the host city of Saransk for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, actor Stanislav Duzhnikov, visited one of the children's health camps in Mordovia during the session dedicated to the world championship. Groups of children are named after football teams, they regularly participate in intellectual activities and competitions related to the history of football, and of course, play football every day.

Duzhnikov talked about his studies, relations with sport and football, his hometown – Saranks, favorite places in the city. He held a traditional football quiz. The winners received prizes - caps, mugs, backpacks and slap bracelets with symbols of the 2018 World Cup. Traditional photo and autograph sessions were held after the meeting.

"Saransk and Russia in general warmly welcomes guests. In 2018, fans from other countries will be pleasantly surprised by our hospitality. The atmosphere is friendly, creative and positive," Duzhnikov said.

"When I learned that a famous actor was coming to visit us, I immediately thought of Stanislav Duzhnikov. He is from Saransk. I grew up watching “The Voronins” show, and today I was lucky to share the same stage with him. People tell me, I look like him. I dream of entering the Moscow Art Theater School, and today I rekindled that dream. It is great that our city became one of the 2018 World Cup host cities – it already gave me such great emotions,” Vlad Kuzmin, one of the children, said.
