Chile beats Cameroon in Confederations Cup 2017 match

Chilean footballers secured a victory over Cameroon in their first game of the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017. The game, held in Moscow at Spartak Stadium, ended with the score of 2 - 0.

Midfielder Arturo Vidal scored the first goal on minute 81, and Eduardo Vargas increased the score on 91st minute.

Cameroon: Fabrice Ondoa; Ernest Massoussi, Michael Ngadeu, Ngadjui, Adolphe Teikeu and Collins Fai; Sebastien Siani (86 'Moumi Ngamaleu), Andre Anguissa (89' Georges Mandjeck) and Arnaud Sutchuin; Christian Bassogog, Vincent Aboubakar, Benjamin Moukandjo. 

Chile: Johnny Herrera; Mauricio Isla, Gary Medel, Gonzalo Jara and Jean Beausejour; Arturo Vidal, Marcelo Díaz and Charles Aránguiz (71 'Francisco Silva); José Fuenzalida (64 'Leonardo Valencia), Eduardo Vargas, Edson Puch (58' Alexis Sánchez). 

Chile's second game in the group stage will be against Germany. The match will be held June 22 at the Kazan Arena. The same day Cameroon will play against Australia at the Saint Petersburg Stadium.
