Sergei Ignashevich to organise charity football tournament for Help Needed fund

A team may be registered to participate in one of three leagues: male, female and junior

Former defender of the Russia national team Sergei Ignashevich together with the Help Needed fund will hold a charity football tournament, in which everyone may take part. This was reported on the official website of the charity.

To participate in the tournament one needs to collect a team and register it on the tournament website. Then, according to the rules, each team starts collecting funds for charity with the help of their friends and acquaintances. Teams that have collected the most money will be eligible to compete.

A team may be registered to participate in three leagues: male, female and junior. In the tournament among men 16 teams will compete, among women and boys - eight teams. Ignashevich will also assemble his team.

The winners of the men's league will play against Ignashevich's team, the winners of the women's league will go to team training under the leadership of the former football player of the Russia national team. The best of the youth teams will receive an autograph session with the team of Ignashevich and the ball of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ with the signatures of the players of the Russia national team. Two teams, who collected most donations, will have the opportunity to have dinner with the ex-footballer at the SUP-cafe while watching a Champions League match.

"The mission of the tournament is to show how you can help charitable organisations, using your own capability and social connections.The teams that will collect the most money will meet on the field and show that the help unites and the charity can be interesting and exciting. Next year the tournament will be held all over Russia," as the fund's website states.
