Sochi mountain tourist center Gazprom opens horseback riding

The center will have seven routes from 15 minutes up to 7 hours

Sochi mountain tourist center Gazprom will feature new service - horseback riding. According to the press service of the Sochi administration, seven routes are available to tourists - they will start from the mountain shelter Pikhtovy, located at an altitude of 1660 meters

Before the walk begins, instructor will talk about safety and explain the basic horse riding rules.

Beginners and those who are only learning how to ride a horse can attend walks for 15 and 30 minutes. Medium difficulty level routes take up from 1 to 7 hours and go through the Pikhtovaya Polyana (medow) and the foothills of the Sochi National Park up to the Medvezhiy Vorota pass and and Medvezhiy Kogot waterfall. More experienced quests will enjoy walks up to Bzerpinskiy cornice and Dzitaku Valley.

The routes go along forest trails surrounded by chestnut, beech, oak, alder and fern.
