Special travel cards will be issued to volunteers working at the World Cup 2018 Preliminary Draw

The multi-use tickets will allow volunteers to use public transportation of the city free of charge

Around 300 volunteers working for the World Cup Preliminary Draw, scheduled for July 25 in St. Petersburg, will have special travel cards. These will allow volunteers to use St. Petersburg’s public transportation free of charge, the city media relations committee told TASS.

The Podorozhnik card (St. Petersburg public transport payment card) carrying the logo of 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ will provide the owner with free access to metro, bus, trolleybus and tram transportation up until July 26

The draw will decide group placement of the countries participating in the championship. The actual for the five out of six football confederations will be controlled by FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke.
