Stadiums will be improved with adjacent parks in St. Petersburg ahead of World Cup 2018

The city beautification committee told TASS that extra public amenities and landscaping efforts will be undertaken ahead of the World Cup 2018.

Currently St. Petersburg has around eight million flowers. The committee notes that extra 350,000 hanging flowers, 1830 mobile flower beds and flower-adorned light posts, 500  flowerpots and mobile flower installations for vertical greenery will be spread across the city.

30 public green areas will also be improved in Pushkinsky, Petrogradsky, Primorsky and Petrodvortsovy districts of the city.
