Russia managed to prepare first-class conditions for the teams participating in the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017. This opinion was expressed by the Australia national team forward Tim Cahill.

"The field in Saint Petersburg is in good state, Russia has prepared first-class conditions for the teams, training grounds, stadiums, security," Cahill said.

Australian team played a draw with Cameroonians in the second round match of the group stage (1 - 1). "This is a good result for us, we could win, but in the end we were more concerned about keeping it even. We are happy that we scored our first point in the tournament," Cahill said.

In the final match of the group stage, the Australians will play against the Chileans on June 25. "I think we have a good chance in the next match against the Chile team, why not? This is one of the strongest teams in our group, a serious test for us," Cahill said.

Match with the Chileans could be 100th for 37-year-old Cahill in the Australia national team.
