The International Football Federation (FIFA) and Russia-2018 Local Organizing Committee have finalized the tagline of the 2017 Confederations Cup. It goes like this: “Tournament of champions. Dream of fans,” Russian Minister of Sports and Russia-2018 Chairman Vitaly Mutko told a press conference earlier today.

The Board of the Russia-2018 Organizing Committee held a meeting in Moscow in Tuesday, with FIFA in attendance. It was the first meeting for the new FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura, appointed to that office at the 66th FIFA Congress in Mexico City in May.

“The tournament’s taglibe is: “Tournament of champions. Dream of fans." It will accompany the Confederations Cup,” Mr. Mutko announced.

The Confederations Cup will take place between 17 June and 2 July 2017. The games will be played in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi.
