Confederations Cup 2017 guest reception headquarter starts to work in Sochi

The city headquarters for holding the Confederations Cup 2017 events started its work in Sochi. As the deputy head of Sochi, Anatoly Rykov, reported, that services, trade, accommodation of guests, fans transport services and interaction with law enforcement agencies to ensure security are the area of the city authorities attention.

"We prepared 73 basic guest routes and hope that the guests of the tournament will appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of these streets, squares, parks and embankments," said Rykov. "All of them are under special control, we are waiting for the fans and we've been carefully preparing for their arrival. The urban infrastructure is ready for a comfortable reception of guests."

According to the mayoralty representative, during the preparation for the reception of Confederations Cup participants and spectators, the authorities of Sochi tried to take into account the experience of receiving foreign guests at the 2014 Olympic Games. On the hospitality routes in the days of the tournament there will be 132 banking offices, 1073 ATMs and 13155 pos-terminals. "Spending money in Sochi will be convenient, any payment systems can be used even by foreign guests," said the vice-mayor of the resort.

To ensure the smooth operation of all life support systems of the city, all utilities and city services responsible for maintaining the sanitary order on the streets and public roads have been transferred to a intensified 24 hour mode of operation.

If necessary, Sochi doctors are ready to help. A reserve of medicines and donor blood was created in hospitals. In total, 780 medical workers of seven medical organizations are involved in the medical provision of the Confederations Cup matches in Sochi.

Additional teams of Cossacks are given to help the Sochi police, they will patrol the streets and places of congestion of football fans. The mayor's office in Sochi advises fans to call the city headquarters 8 (938) 527 20 17 on all emerging issues. Calls are accepted daily from 9.00 to 18.00 Moscow time. The day before the match, the headquarters will work from 9.00 to 22.00 Moscow time, the day of the match - up to 0.00 Moscow time.

At the Fisht Stadium on June 19 the national teams of Australia and Germany will meet, on June 21 the Mexicans will play against the New Zealanders, on June 25 the teams of Germany and Cameroon will have a match. On June 29 one of the semi-finals will tale place in Sochi.
