Russian footballers do not experience anxiety before the final match of the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 group stage with the Mexican team. This was announced by the Chairman of the LOC Russia 2018, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko.

The meeting of the Russian team with Mexicans will be held on Saturday at the Kazan Arena and will start at 6 p.m. Moscow time.

"The guys are very attuned, I've talked to the head coach Stanislav Cherchesov, he is thinking about the tactics and composition of the game.We have a very important game, the guys understand everything, so you do not need to say anything else. Jitters? I can't speak for myself, but the team is absolutely calm," said Mutko.

"What's the ambition for the match? The guys want to win, as Mexicans do, they all want to show a good game, to please the fans," he added.

After two rounds, the Mexicans lead in the group with four points. The Portuguese with the same number of points rank second, behind the Mexicans. Russians are the third with three points, New Zealanders, who suffered two defeats, lost the chance to break into the semifinals.
