Volunteer recruitment campaign for 2018 World Cup kicks off June 1

As part of the volunteer program it was planned to involve more than 5,000 volunteers for the 2017 Confederations Cup and 15,000 for the 2018 World Cup

Volunteer recruitment campaign for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2017 Confederations Cup begins on June 1, 2016. 15 volunteer centers in 11 host cities of the 2018 World Cup will chose Russian and foreign volunteers that they will submit at fifa.com.
As part of the volunteer program it was planned to involve more than 5,000 volunteers for the 2017 Confederations Cup and 15,000 activists will participate in the organization of the 2018 World Cup. The recruitment process will end in late 2016. Those wishing to become volunteers of the 2018 World Cup and the 2017 Confederations Cup will be able to apply at ru.fifa.com/volunteers after the ceremony dedicated to the start of the recruitment program will be held in Moscow on June 1.

The candidates will be able to track their application on FIFA.com, and welcome2018.com will provide the news about 15 volunteer centers for the World Cup in 11 host cities, where the volunteers will undergo selection process and training. Additional 20,000 activists will participate in the volunteer programs of the 2018 World Cup host cities - these activists will prepare the cities.
