Visitors could take photos on a special stand of Nizhny Novgorod as one of the host cities of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and play table football.

““Leather Ball” is the bottom of the Russian football “iceberg” that floats in the international waters,” Minister of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Sergey Panov said. “In 2018 we will host a landmark event that will allow us to understand what our domestic football has become. It should be noted that the competition took place on one of the best football facilities in the city - stadium Severny. However, in two years we invite everyone to the next finals, perhaps, in other age groups because the city will have an excellent infrastructure. I am not talking about the stadium, but the training grounds. It would be interesting to see how the current teams would perform in two years, it would be great to track the progress of young players,” he added.
