Balkan Grill

Aleksandr Chuprakov/

This is a Serbian restaurant, and Serbian food is known to be heavy on meat and very filling. Steaks, ha.m., Serbian kaymak cheese, and Montenegrin beer…  Half of the dishes at Balkan Grill, including their cheese-baked onion soup, are prepared in the large Serbian oven. If you are so inclined, you are free to observe the cooking process. People eat in the main room or retire to one of the small private rooms. The private rooms are reserved for business talks in the daytime and dates in the evening. A live orchestra plays on weekends and holidays. The servings are large. If you cannot finish your food (this happens all the time), your server will pack it in a to-go box for you.
