The Rosy Jane

You run into all kinds of people at this round-the-clock bar in the middle of town: from officials to slackers. The interior décor is as heavy on British imagery as the menu is heavy on British and Irish beverages. The choice of Scotch whiskeys, Irish stouts and ales is really impressive. People dance all night. The furnishings and décor are fairly standard for British pubs anywhere in the world: heavy leather furniture, a massive wooden bar, and retro posters on the walls. The menu is small but spot-on and the servings are generous: lamb chops, fried tiger shrimp, burgers with real meat patties, roast beef salad with vegetables and grissini. For breakfast, you get to choose between Irish, Scottish and English, not to mention bliny, syrniki, yogurts and sandwiches. There is a good selection of teas.
