This egalitarian Italian establishment has no trace of Italy in its décor. Indeed, why bother with decorations when the food is this good: nothing but the Italian classics, no sushi nonsense - unlike certain other restaurateurs, who believe there is a place for Japanese heresy in a temple of Italian gastronomy. The pasta dishes are DIY here: you get to pick your own kind of pasta, the sauce, and the cooking depth. Maccheroni has an in-house patisserie. They take orders for gift cakes, and will deliver, too.
