Restaurant at Radisson Royal Moscow Flotilla

Alexander Zelikov / TASS

The most pleasant way to survive Moscow heat is on the water, and Radisson Royal Moscow Flotilla's floating patios are simultaneously a restaurant, a tour of Moscow by water, and a rescue from the noonday heat.

The menu here is standard (in a good sense of this world) dinner event fare: fish plate, Caesar, Nicoise, and Blue Cheese salads, fettuccine with salmon, gazpacho soup, two kinds of cold okroshka soup (with ham and kvas, or with smoked salmon and kefir), penne Arabiata, duck "Magret," beef cheeks in white wine sauce, stewed mussels in tomato sauce.

In the course of three hours, the ship sails down the Moskva River past the principal city attractions: from Gorky Park past the Kremlin, the Novodevichy Convent, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and Hotel Ukraina. We suggest booking the table either at sunrise or sundown.
