Although this panoramic restaurant is located on the ground floor, the view here seems like a postcard: the old stock exchange and rostral columns of Vasilievsky Island, the Palace Embankment and Neva River. Inside you will find rows of sofas, multicoloured chairs, a lot of flowers and waiters. The crowd is made up of tourists, football players and businessmen. The smelt fish (koryushka), which is considered the main catch of local waters and which gave the restaurant its name, is served at any season and in many varieties: fried au gratin, pickled or smoked. The fish dishes are complemented by local type of gyros (shawarma) with a Georgian satsibeli sauce, several types of khachapuri (Georgian cheese-pies) and khinkali (large Georgian dumplings).
